100 Graduates from the Faculty of Medicine at UIN Jakarta Were Officially Conferred Their Degrees at UIN Jakarta’s 140th Commencement Ceremony
Auditorium Harun Nasution, FK Online News — The Faculty of Medicine of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta marked a historic milestone by graduating 100 students at the 140th Graduation Ceremony of UIN Jakarta for the 2025/2026 Academic Year on Sunday (May 24, 2026). This achievement represents the highest number of graduates in the faculty’s history since its establishment in 2005.
Overall, UIN Jakarta conferred degrees upon 1,557 graduates from undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral programs. Specifically on Sunday’s ceremony, 789 graduates from various faculties were officially inaugurated, including 100 graduates from the Faculty of Medicine.
The graduation session was officially opened by the Secretary of the Senate of UIN Jakarta, Prof. Dr. Masri Mansoer, M.Ag., and attended by the Rector of UIN Jakarta, Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar, M.A., Ph.D., along with university leaders, deans, and members of the academic community.
During the ceremony, a student from the Faculty of Medicine, Rahma Raudia Faizin, received the Best Scientific Research Award in Science for her study on the biodiversity of oral bacteria among Islamic boarding school students using siwak in Pesantren Al-Fachriyah, South Tangerang.
In his remarks, Rector Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar emphasized that graduation is a significant milestone reflecting students’ perseverance, dedication, and academic journey throughout their studies.
Through the 140th Graduation Ceremony, FK UIN Jakarta expressed appreciation to all graduates for their academic achievements and dedication. The faculty also hopes its alumni will continue to uphold professionalism, integrity, and a spirit of service in their future careers and contributions to society.
