Strategic Plan
In line with the vision of the university (UIN Syarif Hidayatullah) namely "To become a university with a global reputation with excellence in the integration of science and Islam", the Faculty of Medicine (FK) UIN Syarif Hidayatullah is committed to maximizing its role in carrying out the tridharma of higher education by integrating medical and Islamic sciences in providing equitable access to medical education, developing superior research and efforts to improve public health. FK UIN Syarif Hidayatullah is currently growing into a competent and trusted institution by developing various higher education tridharma collaborations, both with national and international institutions. As a consequence of this, synergy is needed in the form of unified direction and strategic priorities which are depicted in a Strategic Plan of FK UIN Syarif Hidayatullah. It is hoped that this Strategic Plan (Renstra) can clearly describe the roles and functions as well as the direction of policies that will be implemented to achieve the goals of FK UIN Syarif Hidayatullah in the next five years.
Strategic planning is one of the strategic tools for FK UIN Syarif Hidayatullah which guides and controls the focus and direction of movement of a series of organizational priorities towards established strategic goals, which originate from various main demands of its key stakeholders. As a strategic planning document with a five-year horizon, the Strategic Plan helps the leadership of FK UIN Syarif Hidayatullah to focus the organization on the most important things and make consistent strategic decisions. The role of the Strategic Plan as a guide to an organization's strategic development is increasingly important because an organization's core capabilities can actually experience a decline, either due to changes in the demands of the organization's external environment which are increasingly rational over time (for example, increased awareness of service quality, management transparency, etc.) or due to a decline in the organization's internal capabilities. (e.g. reduced relevance of individual and organizational competencies due to technological developments etc.).
In line with the dynamics of internal conditions and the demands of key stakeholders, FK UIN SYARIF Hidayatullah needs to prepare a 2022-2026 Strategic Plan, as a continuation of the previous period's Strategic Plan which will end. This strategic plan is a manifestation of the mandate and aspirations that originate from the interests of key stakeholders of FK UIN Syarif Hidayatullah. Therefore, the Strategic Plan is also the main guideline for every leader of FK UIN Syarif Hidayatullah in assessing the progress of the status of achieving strategic goals and short and long term performance targets as well as controlling the direction of management and development of the organization so that it is in line with the main demands of its key stakeholders. more details here
