⁠Efforts to Increase the Research Capacity of Lecturers on the Integration of Medicine and Islam, Faculty of Medicine UIN Jakarta held a Research and Publication Workshop

Friday, October 13, 2023. The Research and Publication Workshop activity for UIN Jakarta Medical Faculty lecturers has the theme "Increasing the Research and Publication Capacity of Pre-Clinical and Clinical Lecturers at the Faculty of Medicine, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta to Create a Campus that is Excellent in Medical and Islamic Integration Research" and takes place in the Room Anatomy Theater of FK UIN Jakarta. This activity is one of the work programs of the Medical Research and Community Services Unit (MRCU) FK UIN Jakarta.

The vision of FK UIN Jakarta is to produce doctors who can have skills other than in the field of medical science, have broad insight into the development of basic sciences in biomedicine-molecular biology to those applied in society, and can compete in the world of health both at regional and International level. The achievement of this vision and mission must, of course, be supported by good quality research with the theme of integrating medicine with Islamic values, which focuses on seven superior research that have been determined by the Faculty of Medicine at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, both clinical and pre-clinical research. In this way, it is hoped that it will support the realization of doctors graduating from FK UIN Jakarta who have more/superior skills so that they can work professionally, intelligently, and critically in dealing with health problems in the era of globalization.

In this activity, there is a presentation of material followed by an interactive discussion with the resource person. The first material was presented by Deputy Dean 1, Dr. Dr. Fika Ekayanti, M.Med.Ed, with the theme of knowing and understanding seven superior research of FK UIN Jakarta. The second material regarding the socialization of the MRCU research and community service work program was delivered directly by the head of the MRCU unit, Nurin Nadzifatil Fitriyah, M.Biomed. Apart from MRCU socialization, there was also socialization regarding internal and external grants at UIN Jakarta, which Puslitpen UIN Jakarta, Siti Ummi Masruroh, M.Sc delivered. Next, Dr. Flori Ratna Sari, Ph.D lecturer in Pharmacology, FK UIN Jakarta, currently serves as Plt. The Director of Haji Hospital Jakarta delivered material for preparing clinical and pre-clinical research proposals. Then, the activity closed with a presentation by Prof. Dr. Bulent Kilic from Dokuz Eylul University, Turkey, with a publication strategy in internationally reputable journals.
