Thursday, 12 October 2023. The signing of the Cooperation Agreement between UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta and UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya (UINSA) has taken place at the Integrated Building, Gunung Anyar Campus, UINSA Surabaya. This collaboration was carried out following the signing a Memorandum of Understanding between the Chancellor of UIN Jakarta and the Chancellor of UINSA at the UIN Jakarta Rectorate Building, last Friday, 6 October 2023.

The Collaboration Agreement itself was signed directly by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Dr. Dr. Achmad Zaki, M.Epid, Sp.OT and Deputy Chancellor for Student Affairs and Cooperation at UINSA Surabaya, Prof. Dr. Abdul Muhid, M.Si, also attended by the Chancellor of UIN Jakarta, the Deputy Chancellor for Cooperation and Institutions, and the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni and Cooperation, FK UIN Jakarta.

Chancellor of UIN Jakarta, Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar, M.A, Ph.D appreciated UIN Surabaya's trust in entrusting its medical faculty to FK UIN Jakarta. Responding to that, the Chancellor of UIN Surabaya, Prof. Ah. Muzakki, M.Ag, Grad.Dip.SEA, M.Phil, Ph.D also expressed his appreciation for the willingness of UIN Jakarta, which has been accredited A and now has an operational permit for specialist staff, to become a partner in establishing FK UIN Surabaya. "No other way. To enter heaven, you must imitate the good things. And the only good ones are UIN Jakarta," he added.
