FK UIN Jakarta Achieves Scientific Recognition Through Poster Presentations at JOINTS 2026
Medical Building, FK Online News – The Faculty of Medicine (FK) at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta has once again achieved a proud milestone in the international scientific arena. Several members of its academic community successfully presented their research in poster format at the Jakarta Orthopaedic Innovative Training and Symposium (JOINTS) 2026, held on Friday–Saturday (April 10–11, 2026).
This achievement reflects the strong commitment of FK UIN Jakarta students to advancing academic excellence, research capabilities, and scientific contributions in the field of medicine, particularly in orthopedics.
One student team presented a poster titled “Do Genetic Polymorphisms Determine Postoperative Outcomes After Arthroplasty in Osteoarthritis? A Systematic Review.” The research was conducted by Azmul A. Asmar, Achmad Zaki, Erike Anggraini Suwarsono, Anada Hadis Wahyudi, and M. Ade Wijaya. The study explored the influence of genetic factors on postoperative outcomes following arthroplasty in osteoarthritis patients.
Another team presented research titled “Efficacy of Stem Cell Therapy on Quality of Life and Cartilage Healing in Osteoarthritis Patients: A Systematic Review of Randomized Controlled Trials.” This study was conducted by Muhammad Rafif Athaya, M. Ghatfan Izza Carmavirendra, Muhammad Wahyu Kuncoro Adji, and Bisatyo Mardjikoen, focusing on the effectiveness of stem cell therapy in improving quality of life and cartilage healing in osteoarthritis patients.
In addition, another poster titled “Role of Vitamin D Supplementation in Fracture Healing, Bone Biomarkers, and Quality of Life Among Adult Patients: A Systematic Review” was presented by M. Ghatfan Izza Carmavirendra, Muhammad Rafif Athaya, Muhammad Wahyu Kuncoro Adji, and Bisatyo Mardjikoen. This study highlighted the role of vitamin D supplementation in fracture healing, bone biomarkers, and patients’ quality of life.
Participation in this scientific forum not only served as a platform to present research findings but also as an opportunity for learning and strengthening academic networks at both national and international levels. This aligns with FK UIN Jakarta’s commitment to encouraging students to actively contribute to research-based scientific development.
