He explained that the partnership reflects a commitment to collaboration, the development of facilities and infrastructure, and future expansion initiatives at the university level.

"This partnership represents FK’s commitment to supporting and participating in coordinated business development efforts within UIN Jakarta. Secondly, it reaffirms our commitment to providing facilities and infrastructure for the Faculty of Medicine community. Looking ahead, both within FK and at the university level, we hope to contribute further to institutional development," he stated.

Dr. Zaki further emphasized that FK UIN Jakarta fully supports the development of organized internal business initiatives under the supervision of P2B. He noted that the partnership demonstrates the faculty’s readiness to contribute to the advancement of UIN Jakarta through high-quality facilities and services. He also expressed appreciation for FK UIN Jakarta alumni who have been involved in the development of Medicanteen.

As Head of the Business Development Center, Prof. Asep Syarifuddin explained that according to university policy, all business activities conducted within UIN Jakarta should be coordinated and supervised by P2B in order to maximize business opportunities, in accordance with a university circular issued on November 7, 2023. He noted that the policy was designed to ensure effective governance and prevent potential issues.

"The main point is that the Business Development Center can facilitate the procurement of goods and services while also creating opportunities to increase the university’s revenue potential," he explained.

Prof. Asep also shared information regarding P2B’s current financial performance, noting that its revenue and budget have reached approximately IDR 14 billion and continue to grow. He highlighted the center’s success in managing various business units across the university.

"The potential is quite significant. UIN Jakarta has numerous business opportunities, including the Fathullah Mosque Food Court, business festivals involving more than 50 tenants, as well as ADIA Suites, ADIA Convention Center, and other business units," he added.

Accompanying Prof. Asep, the Secretary of the Business Development Center, Arief Arianto Aryadi, S.Psi., reaffirmed the importance of the partnership and expressed hope that it would contribute to public well-being through the provision of essential needs, including healthy food services.

"We hope this collaboration will bring substantial benefits and contribute positively to the well-being of our entire community," he said.
