FK UIN Jakarta and Darul Qur’an Mulia Islamic Boarding School Strengthen Collaboration in Education, Research, and Community Service
FK UIN News, Online — To expand its network in education, research, and community service, the Faculty of Medicine (FK) of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta continues to strengthen its partnerships in support of quality and excellence. FK UIN Jakarta has officially signed a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) with Darul Qur’an Mulia (DQM) Islamic Boarding School in the fields of education, research, and community service. (October 1, 2026).
Darul Qur’an Mulia (DQM) is known as a leading Islamic educational institution that implements an integrated learning system encompassing Qur’anic education, academic learning, character development, and soft skills to prepare future leaders grounded in Qur’anic values. According to the official DQM website, the institution implements four pillars of an integrated curriculum: Qur’anic education, formal education, character development, and leadership, all integrated with technology. Its programs include a 30-Juz Qur’an memorization program, as well as intensive academic programs that meet national and international standards.
In line with the mission of Islamic higher education, this Integrated Islamic School focuses on developing faith and Tawhid in Allah SWT while fostering character inspired by the example of Prophet Muhammad SAW, cultivating a love for the Qur’an, and implementing an integrated Islamic curriculum that meets national standards. With programs emphasizing faith and piety, the cooperation between DQM and FK UIN Jakarta represents a concrete step toward expanding and strengthening institutional networks.
DQM also implements an International Islamic Boarding School program featuring bilingual communication, a smart system, and internationally standardized facilities and curriculum. This collaboration builds upon an existing relationship between the two institutions and further strengthens ties through FK UIN Jakarta alumni who have long served and contributed to DQM.
Student activities at the boarding school, including Healthy Santri programs, health education, and community service initiatives, have also been carried out through the longstanding collaboration involving FK UIN Jakarta alumni. This renewed cooperation is expected to further strengthen joint efforts in education, research, pesantren health programs, and the development of future doctors who are excellent, ethical, and grounded in Islamic values.
