FK UIN Jakarta News Online – The Faculty of Medicine (FK) at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta continues to expand its network of educational partnerships to support and strengthen the university’s educational mission. Vice Rector for Cooperation, Din Wahid, M.A., Ph.D., together with Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Cooperation of FK UIN Jakarta, drg. Laifa Annisa Hendarmin, Ph.D., visited Trensains Muhammadiyah Sragen High School to formalize an educational partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Cooperation Agreement (PKS) on Wednesday (23/9/2026).

The signing of the MoU between UIN Jakarta and Trensains Muhammadiyah Sragen High School, along with the PKS between FK UIN Jakarta and the school, aims to strengthen cooperation in the field of education, including student admission opportunities through the Talent Scouting pathway. At UIN Jakarta, the Talent Scouting pathway is a limited admission selection without a written test under the Independent Non-Regular Student Admission Program (SPMB Mandiri Non-Reguler), specifically intended for students from partner schools that have established an MoU with UIN Jakarta or a PKS with one of its faculties.

Pesantren Sains, commonly known as Trensains, is an educational institution under the auspices of the Central Executive Board of Muhammadiyah that focuses on science and STEM education. The institution has achieved various accomplishments, including being ranked first among high schools with the highest number of achievement medals based on data from the National Achievement Center (Puspresnas).

This focus is reflected in Trensains Muhammadiyah Sragen High School, which has established an MoU with UIN Jakarta and a PKS with FK UIN Jakarta. The school aims to expand opportunities for its graduates to pursue higher education at Islamic universities while providing broad career prospects, particularly in scientific fields integrated with Islamic values.

In this regard, FK UIN Jakarta serves as a strategic destination for expanding educational opportunities for students of Trensains, who are equipped with scientific knowledge integrated with Islamic values.

Through this partnership, FK UIN Jakarta is committed to identifying and nurturing promising talents from the secondary school level. The initiative aims to help develop future doctors who demonstrate strong integrity, academic achievement, and excellence in the field of science.
