The delegation from the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, UIN Jakarta, was received by the Chancellor, Deputy Chancellor for Cooperation, and the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Toshkent Tibbiyot Akademiyasi / Tashkent Medical Academy (TMA), which is the largest university specializing in medical and health sciences in Uzbekistan and the Central Asia Region.

Rector of Tashkent Medical Academy, Prof. Shukhrat Abdujalilovich Boymuradov, who is also a plastic surgeon, signed an MoU with UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, UIN Jakarta, which had been previously agreed upon.

The next stage will continue with collaboration between staff, students, and alums of FK UIN Jakarta, as well as collaborative research and journals of FK UIN Jakarta.

On this occasion, the Dean also brought along the FK UIN Jakarta journal, namely the Avicenna Medical Journal, which was welcomed by the TMA rector, where Ibnu Sina (Avicenna) (980-1037 AD), known as the Father of Modern Medicine, was a medical scientist who was born and raised in Bukhara. , current Uzbekistan. Together with Galen and Hippocrates, Avicenna is known as The Three Authorities on Medical Theory and Practice.

The Chancellor and Dean of TMA are pleased to be editors of the Avicenna Medical Journal FK UIN Jakarta, which currently has SINTA qualifications from the Ministry of Education and Culture and is in the process of being certified by Scopus International.
