Faculty of Medicine Building, FK Online News — The academic community of the Faculty of Medicine (FK), UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, extends its greetings for the observance of fasting to the entire Faculty family and the wider community in welcoming the Holy Month of Ramadan 1447 Hijri on Wednesday, 18 February 2026.

In his message, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine UIN Jakarta, Dr. dr. Achmad Zaki, M.Epid., Sp.OT., FICS, invited the entire academic community to make Ramadan a moment to strengthen spiritual values and social compassion.

“On behalf of the leadership and the academic community of the Faculty of Medicine UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, I would like to wish you Marhaban ya Ramadan 1447 Hijri. May this Ramadan become a moment for all of us to strengthen our faith, enhance social awareness, and reaffirm our commitment to serving the community and humanity,” he said.

Ramadan is also seen as a month of character building that aligns with the values of the medical profession.

“As members of the academic community, Ramadan teaches us patience, sincerity, and empathy—values that form the foundation of the medical profession,” he added.

At the end of his message, he expressed hope that every act of worship during the holy month would bring blessings to the entire campus community.

“May every act of worship, service, and kindness we perform during this holy month be accepted by Allah SWT and bring blessings to ourselves, our families, and the institution we love,” he concluded.

The momentum of Ramadan is expected to further strengthen unity and the spirit of service among the academic community of the Faculty of Medicine UIN Jakarta in carrying out academic and humanitarian roles.
